A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with a beautiful young lady who I admire very much, Lauren Parkes.
Lauren has accomplished so much in her life thus far.... Miss Black Delaware USA, Miss Maryland Galaxy, & Miss Earth Delaware. She was also 1st runner up to Miss Delaware USA in 2012. Even though she has had many accomplishments she still remains incredibly humble. Lauren is also a model, motivational speaker, and pageant coach all while donating her time to her community.
Lauren and I discussed working together on a special project that unfortunately fell through due to some unforeseen circumstances. Luckily Lauren was gracious enough to agree to do a different kind of shoot. At this point I contacted a great photographer - Lindsey Epps Tucker from Urboi Photography .
I have had the pleasure of working with Tucker before so I knew the shoot was going to go well. After Lauren was finished with makeup and wardrobe, Tucker immediate got to work. Although Tucker is very creative and his work is often cutting edge, this shoot we decided to keep it basic which allowed Lauren to really shine.
